Sweet Dreams

My oldest son, Jackson, has a similar applique pillowcase done in primary colors to match his superhero room.  When he was 2 and a half he would touch and say each letter of his name before he would go to sleep.  What a precious memory!

I just made this one to match little Colin's jungle animal nursery.  Of course fabrics can be changed to customize this for your little one or big one's room.  I can also use the Swirly applique to girl it up.

Alone these make a great Christmas or birthday gift, ($20 applique, $15 embroidery only), but how cute would it be to pair it with a special flashlight and night time storybook.

Grand Opening!

Welcome to my blog shop, That is Sew You!  I am thrilled that you have come to take a look and to be honest can't believe that this is really happening.  I have started my own business and am so excited for you to be a part of it! You can simply look through my latest posts by scrolling down to view my latest finished projects, but don't forget to cruise across the top menu bar to see a full list of the shirts, baby and toddler gifts I am selling.

There are a couple of features on the blog that are still a work in progress, but I wanted to go ahead and officially open my doors because I know some of you are already getting your Christmas gift lists ready and I'd love to be able to help out with that.  Some of the Christmas appliques I'm offering are in the applique shirts tab on the menu bar and likewise so are the fabrics.

Before you leave, take a moment and sign up to follow my blog in the left hand column and if you are one of the first 5 people to add a comment on my blog shop then you will receive $5 off your first order.

Bundle Up

These baby items look great paired together into a bundle and would be sure to put a huge grin on a new mommy or a mommy to be's face.

Keepsake Name Blanket ( a favorite at our house) and Burp Cloth ($30)

Baby Hooded Towel and Burp Cloth ($25)

And I couldn't help showing these pictures of my little one, whose name I know is not Max, modeling one of the hooded towels. I wanted you to see how generous it is, giving plenty of room still for my sweet little 9 month old.  And o.k. I just wanted an excuse to post a picture of my precious Colin.

Custom Birthday Shirts

Over the last couple of months I have made these themed birthday shirts for two of my favorite little people.

Briley celebrated turning 3 at a local candy shop.
Her mom paired this shirt with a frilly purple tutu.  So sweet!

And you guessed it, the now 3 year old Mr. Hank is a lover of everything John Deere!

If your kiddo has a birthday coming up that you want a special themed shirt (base $25) for let me know and I'll help you create the perfect shirt for your little one's big day.  I can pretty much find appliques to match any theme.

Spitting Up in Style

A group of three, embroidery only ($18) makes such a nice baby gift or adding just one to coordinate with a sweet outfit turns an ordinary baby gift into something special.  I can do just embroidery ($7), just applique ($10), or a combo of both($12) in any colors you have in mind.  I have to say that the monogram in the middle I did for new little Ashlyn is hands down my favorite so far, but gosh I just love the simple stitched out name too.

Ooh Ooh, Aah Aah!

Monkeys seem to be growing in popularity these days, from baby bedding to clothing they are the craz!  This sweet applique would look great on a burp cloth or bib too!

Frilly Patch Initial

I made two of these last month for my little B neighbors, Brynn and Briley.  I found these precious smocked shirts at old navy (looking back I wish I would have stocked up) and had been dying to try out this applique.  I have to say this is by far my favorite stitched out project.  Perfectly adorable!

Trick or Treat

I just made these Halloween shirts for my friend's kiddos. She happens to be That is Sew You's biggest fan. Thank you Kristy for loving my shirts because I love making them for you. I can't wait to post a picture of her little cuties modeling my shirts in the pumpkin patch.

And I just made this one for my sweet "itsy bitsy!"

And a coordinating one for big brother!

Sibling Sets

To help raise money for my son's preschool I auctioned off a sibling set ($22 each). I can also do these in muted primary colors with browns that is gender neutral if you want the same fabrics on the girl and boy ones. Even though the boy fabric has baby blue in it, the modern greens lend this to being a big bro shirt too.
